Few working people in Alberta were surprised by the news today that most of the Wildrose Party caucus have chosen to join or re-join the Alberta Conservatives.
“For the most part, you really had to do your research to figure out the difference between Conservative and Wildrose policies,” said Joie Warnock, Unifor’s Western Director. “In reality, the Wildrose party has always had the same disinterest towards improving services for Alberta's working families.”
“Real opposition and real leadership in the legislature comes from Rachel Notley and the Alberta NDP caucus,” added Warnock.
