Bargaining for Premier employees’ first contract underway

On Aug. 4th, Unifor Local 222’s newest unit, Premier Implementation Solutions, located at Fresh Del Monte in Oshawa, began negotiations for approximately 250 employees. The bargaining process is observing pandemic protocols with physical distancing in place.

The 108,000-square-foot facility is Fresh Del Monte’s first location in Canada, processing fresh-cut fruit and vegetables for distribution across Ontario and Quebec.
